Our client is a UK-based company formed in 1989 to design and develop the technologies needed for a new class of innovative hypersonic propulsion system – the Synergetic Air-Breathing Rocket Engine (SABRE™).
Reporting to the Head of HR, and acting as a true Business Partner to the expanding Engineering function, you will be pivotal in providing the Engineering Director with operational and strategic HR support to embed and develop the leadership team. You will provide advice and direction on business unit restructures, workforce and succession planning, and all aspects of the Employee Lifecycle.
Working with line managers to deliver exceptional service and support to all Engineering employees in order to foster true engagement and drive a high performance people culture will be key to your success.
• Coach managers with skills and behaviours to lead their teams through a period of growth and change
• Work collaboratively with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Initiate delivery and provide input into a variety of HR operations including Learning & Development, Resourcing, Employee Relations and Reward
• Work with the Head of HR to implement and manage HR projects and change initiatives
Your technical skills will be underpinned by a style and approach which is sociable, pragmatic and open. With four years professional experience ideally within an Engineering environment, you will need to be CIPD qualified or equivalent with the personal credibility to assume wide-ranging responsibilities across a growing company.
