IT Support Technician
Salary: £20,000 plus benefits
Our client is a medium sized, fast growing pharmaceutical company.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Support Technician will be responsible for managing the helpdesk and 1st Line Support for approximately 150 users. You will provide 1st line support for all desktops, liaise with local and remote users to resolve both hardware and software issues and ensure all incidents are logged in the IT Helpdesk tool. Additional duties will include conducting daily server and backup checks, escalating queries, adding and deleting users on the system, maintaining the hardware inventory register and conducting an annual audit. Maintaining the Licensing inventory, procuring hardware and software, and maintaining IT stock are also requirements.
The successful candidate will need A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service and a basic knowledge of PC hardware with experience of diagnosing problems is essential.. You’ll also have general IT network and systems knowledge.
